Transitional Living Program
The ninety-day Transitional Living (halfway house) program is provided in a structured transitional treatment setting and is designed for those clients in need of extended residential support to successfully meet goals of recovery from chemical dependency. The program emphasis is on continued recovery from chemical dependency and development of personal skills and resources needed to maintain a sober and more independent lifestyle. In addition to continued alcohol and drug counseling, clients in the Transitional Living program receive job readiness counseling.
The Transitional Living treatment activities occur from 6:00pm - 9:00 pm each evening so as not to interfere with the client's daily employment responsibilities. Treatment activities are supplemented by AA/NA support groups in the community.
