Transitional Living Program
The ninety-day Transitional Living (halfway house) program is
provided in a structured transitional treatment setting and is designed for those clients in need of extended residential support to successfully meet goals of recovery from addiction or co-occurring disorders. The program emphasis is on continued recovery and development of personal skills and resources needed to maintain a healthy and more independent lifestyle. In addition to continued therapeutic counseling, clients in the Transitional Living program also receive job readiness counseling.
The Transitional Living treatment activities occur from 6:00pm - 9:00 pm each evening so as not to interfere with the client's daily employment responsibilities. Treatment activities are supplemented by recovery support groups (AA, NA, DRA, etc.) in the community.
